This is the actual second commandment but missing from the commandments taught in the churches. The practice of worshiping images had started from the pagan practice of the Romans. This practice of worshiping images many gods is one of the main reasons we are weak in our faith. That we run after 100 saints but still are not strong in our faith. It is unfortunate that the church leadership has been promoting this. This is high time that we put a stop to this practice. One of the reason the Jewish religion is strong in faith and other fields is probably they worship one God only nor they have Saints or Images. Let us give due respect to our saints and martyrs but not to the extent of equating them with God and worshiping them
Really a greate and meaning full article. So many times I myself look at jesus hanging on the cross till today. No one helps him to release from the cross. We make new designed crusifics and crusify jesuses again and again. My one humble request not to make the mistake as the king done to him.
